Green Hat Announces Launch of Performance Testing Tool for SOA

2 May, London: Green Hat - a leading provider of testing software for SOA projects and integration technologies - today announced the launch of GH Performance Testing; a powerful extension to the GH Tester suite of automated testing tools. The new product enables users to understand the performance of their SOA by exercising multiple services simultaneously with realistic traffic load profiles, so they know their infrastructure can handle expected traffic loads.

Peter Cole, Green Hat’s CTO commented. "As a member of the TIBCO Alliance programme, Green Hat is committed to working together with TIBCO to build value-add functionality which will help customers maximise the business outcomes of IT - enabling true end-to-end testing in a structured, managed and automated way. Our new product enhances our GH testing suite, by enabling users to get down into the detail and find the limits of their system before their customers do."

GH Performance Testing provides access to hundreds of measurements from TIBCO, through a simple configuration interface. As well as testing performance during development, the tool also has a range of powerful probes and a built-in charting component, that allow users to understand exactly what went wrong, and where. For complete flexibility, users can leverage pre-existing functional tests from GH Tester or develop special ones with no programming or scripting knowledge.

Sanjay Gupta, vice president Global Alliances, TIBCO commented: "GH Tester has been helping our customers test the functionality of their TIBCO integration projects for the past five years. The launch of the performance testing extension for the GH suite will provide our developers with the opportunity to test the functional and non-functional aspects of their projects before they go into production to help improve the quality of the development process."
